Taber Sullivan was born in Gainesville, Florida in 1969 at Shands Hospital on the campus of the University of Florida. He moved to Venice Florida when he was three-years-old. He attended school in Charlotte, Florida. After graduating high school in 1997, Mr. Sullivan attended the University of Southern Florida. He graduated in December of 1994 with a bachelor’s degree in sociology. After college, Mr. Sullivan moved to Caracas, Venezuela to teach English to employees of Venezuela’s largest oil company. He taught over the next six months and returned to his home in Florida. He began a new career with the Hyatt Hotel Corporation. Over the next 10 years with this corporation, he cross-trained in every department earning promotion after promotion, leading him to a position in management.
